Dr. Jen-Tai Hsu
Dr. Jen-Tai Hsu received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UCLA. Dr. Hsu currently serves as VP of IP Engineering for Global Unichip Corporation (GUC).
GUC’s IP portfolio includes Industry’s leading APT (Advanced Packaging Technology) IPs such as HBM PHY and Controller, Ultra Low Power (<0.3pJ/bit) and High Bandwidth/area efficiency (>2.3Tbps/mm^2) Die-to-Die IP (GLink). GUC also offers SerDes, 5G AFE, Embedded Memory (TCAM, SRAM, DDR, etc.), and various Mixed-Signal IPs (PLL, DLL, Display, ADC, DAC, etc.).
Before joining GUC, Dr. Hsu has diversified industry experience with 12 years working for Intel in High Speed SerDes (PCIe, USB, SATA/SAS, etc.) and Flash Memory. He also worked for Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC) in NAND and NOR nonvolatile memories. Dr. Hsu holds more than 20 patents and published more than a dozen technical papers.
